Türkiye’s largest technology festival, TEKNOFEST Istanbul 2025, drew remarkable attention this year with a dedicated cluster area focused on agricultural technologies.
The Agricultural Technologies Cluster (TÜME), established with the vision “We Sow Vision into Every Inch of Soil,” aims to accelerate digital transformation in agriculture, promote sustainable production models, and contribute to Türkiye’s full independence in food supply through domestic and national innovations.
Bringing together private sector companies, universities, startups, and public institutions, TÜME made its debut at TEKNOFEST Istanbul with the “Autonomous Farm, Smart Barn” concept, covering an area of 2,500 m².
Throughout the festival, visitors experienced a range of advanced agricultural technologies, including autonomous milking robots, feed pushing and calf feeding systems, smart climate control solutions, field harvesting machinery, and AI-powered disease detection and yield modeling software.
TÜME was not merely a showcase of innovation—it became an ecosystem where agriculture was experienced interactively, inspiring younger generations and illuminating the future of food production.
As Dost Agricultural Technologies, we introduced our livestock and farming solutions within the TÜME area, such as the Autonomous Greenhouse Barn, Domestic Autonomous Milking Robot, and Animal Tracking & Herd Management System—alongside our Autonomous Harvest System, Autonomous Spraying System, Autonomous Image Processing Software, and Embryo Transfer Program conducted at Dost Farm.
We designed the TÜME space not only as a technology showcase but also as an immersive experience zone.
Children and young visitors harvested tropical fruits and performed virtual milking through VR technology, enjoyed swings inside the smart barn, and interacted with young livestock.
Participants aged 16 and above had the chance to closely observe the embryo transfer process successfully implemented at Dost Farm.
By bringing this process into TÜME’s Genetic Laboratory Section, we offered visitors a first-hand production experience.
With the contribution of experts from Boğaziçi University, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, and TAGEM, participants practiced embryo transfer and genetic improvement applications in a realistic setting.
Thus, visitors not only viewed technologies but also experienced the real-world impact of digitalization and automation in agriculture, gaining tangible insight into the future of farming.
During the festival, the TÜME area was honored by visits from numerous distinguished guests from politics, business, and academia—most notably Vice President Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz and T3 Foundation Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Selçuk Bayraktar.
During these visits, as Dost Agricultural Technologies, we presented our domestic and national innovations, our vision for sustainable production, and our projects aimed at inspiring youth for the future of agriculture.
The TÜME area hosted not only Dost Agricultural Technologies but also Turkey’s leading agri-tech companies such as Mamamiks, ITech Robotics, Agrovisio, MAT Filtration Technologies, LIVZYM Biotechnology, Dost Foods, Liyolife, EYS, Afara, Cowealth, Tempa Teknik, and Most, along with Boğaziçi University, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, and TAGEM.
Participating companies and partners showcased a wide range of pioneering solutions shaping the future of agriculture, including autonomous agricultural robots, herd management and calf feeding systems, precision fermentation biotechnology, remote sensing–based digital platforms, zero-waste and recycling systems, advanced filtration technologies, freeze-drying systems, smart curtain systems, and autonomous feeding centers.
In addition, TAGEM and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University drew attention with their embryo transfer and genetic improvement studies, while Boğaziçi University highlighted projects based on artificial intelligence and data science.
TEKNOFEST 2025 proved to be a festival that not only reached for the skies but also sowed vision into one of the most strategic fields of the future—food security and agricultural sustainability.
With its guiding vision, “We Sow Vision into Every Inch of Soil,” the Agricultural Technologies Cluster (TÜME) continues to contribute to the goal of a “Fully Independent Türkiye in Food Production” through domestic and national technologies.
